Chainsaw Guy STRIKES again!

Yeah, you know him - you've seen him - you've heard the horrifying tales of Chainsaw Guy. Tonight, My sis (A) and her Hubby (T) and my groovy friend from work (P) went to the Castle of Chaos. Alas! I love the haunty housies! I love the fear, the screams - but - I do not love chainsaw guy. I heard him before I saw him... I knew what was coming... I know that he's always there at the end, waiting for me.
This castle has a few twists and turns - Heck T even made me scream. There was, ahem, the Leaky. Anyway, At the end there is this guy... he puts you into a box that's like a coffin, and the bottom drops out... and lo' there is chainsaw guy. I could hear him on the other side. I started screaming when they closed the box. P was laughing on the other side. I could feel chainsaw guy's chainsaw vibrating at my feet... the bottom fell out - and I was trapped. I knew that he had me. He did... he had me so trapped. He cornered me - he was all up in mah grill dawg - there was NO escape. By the time he was done with me tonight, I even smelled JUST like chainsaw guy...

So, back to the tale, P grabbed my hand and rescued me from chainsaw guy. Ooooh, but whilst we were in the gift shop, he came and got me again... And when we were outside , he got me again. I tried to defend myself with a trashcan, but it didn't work. He had me backed up to the jumpin' off spot. It's a good thing that A called out to me and I looked down or I would have fallen right off... Yes, I did leaky on thyself. It was terrible. Next time, I am pushing A in front of chainsaw guy and making a run for it.

No clever pictures of the day - Nothing is really going on - Just working. So, I was editing some photos here at work and behold, I found one that I like. So, I figured that I would put it here - for no reason at all. Just because I feel like blobbing, but I don't know about what because my life is really uneventful presently. . . . and I mean that - it's pretty uneventful.

1 Day and 11 years ago - Kennedy E. G. - was born into this world. A lovely, red haired sight to behold. I am not a blessed with punctuality (and neither is she) as some of my blogging counterparts. However, I finally did get to the point where I could post a few pictures for all to see. We didn't have a big party for Kennedy, this year is not her year for a party. She was allowed one friend over and we had a BBQ at her dad's house.
So, this is her BFF and Jujitsu counterpart - Emily. This is the first time I have really met emily off the mat, and she seems to be just like any other 11 year old girl. Giggly. I can easily smell trouble with this one here...
Though I have lots of pictures of the present opening, this is the one that I am posting because she's not laughing so her mouth is not wide open and you can actually see her smiling face.
Ahhh, the tradition of blowing out the candles -
And the tradition of smashing the cake into the face. Now, this was something that I usually don't allow the kids to do - Traumatic childhood events and whatnot. However, Emily insisted that Kennedy get her face smashed...
And that her face be smashed as well. . . . All in all it was a good birthday for Kennedy. She sends her love to all. I can't believe that she is 11. I have a feeling that the next 7 years are going to be very, VERY, interesting. very.
We hope you had a happy one.

We knew that he was close to exploding ...

A long time ago, in a land far away (yeah, before K was born), I worked at "Access Long Distance". They are no longer in business. BUT, during the time that I was there I would visit this little deli - Phil was the owner, and his son Phillip would help him out. On Tuesdays they would serve the most delicious Turkey Tetrazzini. In the recent weeks I have been desiring this most delicious of dishes, and I decided to see if they were still there. Turns out, their door sign is still there... However, they are not. They went out of business at the beginning of September due to some horrible builder who wasn't sure if they were going to raze the building or put a hotel there or what. They still have no plans but yet they still forced Musumeci's deli out. What a terrible thing! Now, I will forever be longing for the Turkey Tetrazzini!! Anyway, I salute Phil Musumeci, born in Sicily Italy and raised in New York. Thank you for the memories of the BEST turkey tetrazzini that EVER was.

Aonika and the Philharmonica...

So... this is Suni's handiwork from work. See what happens when you get bored? Oh, sure I dream that one day I will be up there, singing in front of BILLIONS - NOT. . . my stage-fright would totally get the best of me on that one. BUT, at the same time.... Anyway, that might be the closest I ever get, so I figured that I would share.
AND - tonight starts an incredible weekend... we are seeing CREED and Staind is opening for them. This (in my honest opinion) won't be as fantastic as Depeche Mode - or Matchbox 20 - BUT, I have a pretty good idea that they are going to Rock it out anyway. I can't wait. I am leaving early (Take that WORK)... And we are going to have a great, exhausting time... Wanna go too? You should go to the box office and get tickets... That's what I did! Bwahahaaa!
