Announced plan to open Mormon-themed restaurants

Announced plan to open Mormon-themed restaurants!

There is an idea floating around Utah, Arizona, Idaho and California for a chain of non-pretentious Mormon-themed restaurants called:
(Where There's Never a Dry, Boring Meating!)

Each Steak Center will have one enormous dining area with basketball hoops at both end and folding metal chairs and long tables covered with plastic tablecloths.

The Steak Centers will not have hostesses, but greeters -- men in their seventies will meet you at the door and talk like they have known you all your life.

The main menu items for lunch and dinner will be:

    Porterhouse Rockwell Steak

    Primary Rib

    Poor Wayfaring Pan of Beef

    Parsley P. Pratt Funeral Potatoes

Eliza R. Snow crab (in season)

    And It Came to Pasta

    Kraft MacaMoroni and Cheese.

 Breakfast items will include:

    Pearls of Great Rice

Frosted  Minivans

Also available: In Our Lovely Desserts

Fast Sundaes

Gadianton Cobbler

    Laman Meringue Pie (just sinful!)

The waiters will be 12- and 13-year-old boys wearing white shirts andtheir fathers' ties...

At the end of the night the customers will be asked to help fold upthe chairs and tables and vacuum the floor.
Franchises are selling faster than Sunbeams on Skittles!
Get yours while they last!

It's Baaaaaaaaaccccckkkkkkkk!!!!

That's right - Tuesday and Wednesday Nights at 7:00 You know where you can find me !!  American Idol is BACK!  And so are the judges.  And Yes, I know already that this is Simon's last year on Idol before he brings X-Factor to the States - but either way, the best show on the planet is back on TV.  For 2 nights in a row now I have been blissfully happy - and it won't stop until April / May - YAY...

SO - If it's Tuesday or Wednesday, just stop by the house, because I will be planted - not wishing to miss a MOMENT of this lovely show and it's quirky panel of judges!

Sewing Patches:

So, Both Ais and myself have "Scouts" - Darrell is a Wolf Scout and I have no Idea what Nathan is.  However, both Aislinn and myself got to enjoy the pleasures of sewing on Patches recently to the scouting uniforms.  I just wanted to share the pictures and say that even though D lost his Wolf Scout book (Tsk Tsk Tsk) He does know the Salutes and stuff already.  I can see him now--- helping little old ladies across the street and stuff...
Anyway, there he is - in all his Scouting Glory - I should have more pictures of the pinewood derby stuff just as soon as he's done figuring out the painting of the cars and whatnot.  He's got it cut out... I am thinking THAT was the EASY part! Sewing the Patches - now THAT's The hard stuff!

Starting the New Year Off Right

Ooooh - so many things that have been going on around this joint... :)

We started a new workout program - again.  Darrell got his scouting uniform and his pinewood derby car - I know... it's a VERY exciting time...  I think that he's going to earn a patch for the Pinewood Derby - I don't know how they earn patches, but I do know that I get to sew his troop patches on his shirt tonight....

Kennedy got her Swimsuit situated and she is ready to go on Thursday nights with me -

I started my visiting teaching already!  WOO...

SEE - so far so good!  Only 6 days into the year and I feel SO productive! YAY!
