The Carnival Dream - on My Birthday... and for Kennedy's Birthday - and TODAY it got paid for... SO HAPPY.  I know you are all as excited as I am.. I can just tell... 

Anyway - 16 weeks and I will be cruisin' again... YAY!

I know that you are thinking that it is May around here... but - that isn't stopping Mother Nature.  Snow is apparently going to come and go through the day.

Oh yeah - it's Gauntlet Legends Time

A long time Ago - in a Land FAR away... 

K tells me "Mom - there's this game that I've been playing with a dragon, and a wizard and you kill things and it's Really Fun!!" And I say to her something like, "Oh really?  Does the Wizard say (Insert best wizard voice here) "ONE RUNE-STONE HAS BEEN FOUND!!"  And she says "YES!! How did you know?!?!" And I said, "Because, I have that game"... 

Which is how we got into this whole "I want to play" thing... and "Oh please hook up the Playstation!!" -- and let us not forget - "Can't 4 people play this game??" 

So, today I spent the majority of the day Playing Gauntlet Legends with D and K.

But, you know what I learned after playing with them all day?  They are little THIEVES!  Yeah, that's right - running ahead of me, stealing all of the stuff - the money, the life, the goods.  Yeah... if it's just me and one of the kids then they behave - but with 2 of them?  MAN - they gang up and steal all of the stuff!  It's JUST like when we played TROUBLE last Sunday... Oooh, gang up on the Parent!  Anyway, I had to spend all sorts of time getting life back after they left this evening because they kept taking it all... Now I have a headache.  Gonna watch Master and Commander and hopefully fall asleep dreaming about something OTHER than all of my treasure being taken by an Archer and A Wizard... 

New Toy!! (New Phone Number)

Ahhh - FEEL THE POWER - (Oh... I feel it)

This is the HTC HD2 - my new phone.  It is on T-Mobile, I know - (Don't worry - I am not necessarily disconnecting my other number... I have a contract with Verizon, remember?)  

Anyway, because of my jobby job, they now have gotten me a phone that I can be attached all the time.  I got it on Monday and- - I have to say - - I love this phone.  I was intimidated at first - but now that I have conversed with others who have figured out neat gadgets and whatnot on it already, I am set.  I am sold.  I love having my calendar with me all the time in a non bulky manner.  (I usually have my planner with me - but now, it's tiny and electronic and happy!)

This means that I will usually have it on my hip, and you will be able to get me just about anywhere that I am at (If I am getting a signal).  So - If you don't hear from me and you need my phone number, please e-mail me or send me a message.  There are quite a few of you that I need to get the number to, so if I miss you I am sorry in advance... Just let me know and I will e-mail it to you or something.

SO HAPPY

My Dear Honda

Though this is NOT my car - it looks something like this - minus the hub caps, and the pricing, and the fact that it's not dented and it looks as though it has been recently washed... SEMANTICS I SAY!!! ... The point is, that's kind of what my car looks like.

Now, this car is (To me) so much better than that VW that we have.  Rarely have I had problems with that car in comparison to the other car.  But, when it has a problem - it's a BIG problem.  There have been warning signs that something was wrong - there have been issues here and there... and my Mechanic is a doll, but I have to wonder about his expertise.  (And I seem to have the cars with the "Unknown" issues - Always).

So, about a month ago, this car was going along - driving happily - and as I increased my speed (Because I love to speed) The car powered off.  It was like it got NO fuel, and the whole thing shut down... NOW - I need to backtrack a little because this car has another problem too.  If I were to go to a gas station, to get a drink or whatever, and stop the car, do my thing, and come back to the car... it is almost guaranteed that the car won't start back up for about 10 minutes.  Just cranks over and over, with no catch...

Anyway, driving on the Interstate on May 1st, the car just Died... I coasted to a stop - waited for the 10 minutes and it started up again.  In the meantime I was on the phone with the mechanic, and we covered the issues.  I got to Ricks office, and he decided to follow me home - as we got onto the interstate again, during acceleration the car died again... wait another 10 minutes and it starts up again... I couldn't really go over 50 without the thing dying... so I progressed over to the Mechanic and he got the car in his possession and proceeded to work on it.

Diagnosis - Fuel Pump.  (Now, he's changed the Fuel Pump, Fuel Filter, blown fuel lines and all of that)

I got the car back - 2 days later I am at Inkley's with Ash - (Thank goodness). After my class with her, I attempt to start the car, and it won't catch at all.  Well, that makes no sense to me, because I've been in the class for an hour.  Why won't it start now? After trying starter fluid and all sorts of stuff - (And calling my mechanic) I finally have it towed to the Mechanic...

Diagnosis - Distributor  (And this has been repaired)

The car starts.  The car runs.  I got the car back - and now I am driving along and the car again powers off.  I was TOLD that if the car wasn't getting fuel it would shut down like this... but it's not like the car is not getting gas, it's like it lost power.  I wait for 10 minutes, and back on it goes -

It's going back to Said Mechanic - but does ANYONE know what it would be?  I mean, We've done Fuel and Ignition - Ideas?

And don't tell me to get rid of the car - seriously... I am not even CLOSE to being in a position to do that....
So - come back down to earth and tell me - if you had a car that just DIED - where would you start?

Tooth Fairy

So, Last night during Dinner - Kennedy of the 11th year decided to show me her very wiggly tooth.  I told her "Wow - that's loose.  Please don't do that to me during dinner"  - and she did laugh...

Just before bed she comes down the stairs and presents me with her tooth... 

and though I was aware that she knew about Santa and the Bunny - somewhere I was HOPING that she wasn't too aware about the tooth thing.  I like sneaking in her room and attempting to put the money under the pillow and trade out the tooth.  It takes a lot of effort when they get a little older - But this year she just handed it to me and told me that we would square up on Saturday... 

Well, that just KILLS the dream.  It looks like My Stalking days are over now. 

OH... Wait...

Good thing I still have Darrell and Aspen!  BWAHAHAAAA!

My Evil April

Seriously - This is a Introduction to my Evil April - She works with me... yeah - I know - How could I let something like THAT happen?  I don't know.  But, what I do know is that she's a hecka lotta fun.  Seriously... Hecka.  If I ever had a "personality twin" she would be the one.  She quotes the movies and the music and she's just darn laid back - She's witty, and she's a great multi-tasker - and well - Darn it - She's me but cutier!  So, I am introducing you all to April - the Evil one.  May you hear lots more about her in the future... her and her EVIL ways...
